Recent recycling and recovery technologies in electroplating industry in Japan will be discussed. Amon the various effluent treatment systems in Japan, 1) Closed system, 2) Economic recovery and recycle system, and 3) Cartridge type ion exchange recycle system will be mentioned in detail. On-line alarm and control system in wastewater treatment in electroplating job shops in Osaka will also be discussed.
