摘要

An analytical approach for the determination of the viscoelastic properties of asphaltic concrete mixtures at low temperatures is described. The properties are derived from laboratory test data obtained from the mixture test selected by the Strategic Highway Research Program (SHRP) to support the new mixture specification for thermal cracking. It is shown that the principle of time-temperature superposition can adequately represent the time- and temperature-dependent stiffness properties of asphaltic concrete mixtures at low temperatures. In addition, it is shown that a generalized Maxwell model (Prony series) can accurately represent the master creep compliance curve of asphaltic concrete mixtures at low temperatures.
