Active noise control of high order modes in a circular duct

In the case of plane wave propagation,activ enosie control (ANC) has bene successfully applied to reduce the acoustical energy emitted at the end of ducts[1,2].When higher order modes propagate in a duct,multi-channel noise conotlr ysstmes have to be used [3,4] and effective attenuation is more difficult to obtian.
