A description of the motion of the centers of tibiofemoral contact, during gait, can provide insight into the constraint of a given prosthetic design. It has been shown that increased joint constraint can have a negative effect on the performanceof a prosthetic, such as increasing the risk of tibial loosening[1,2]. This paper will describe a method to evaluate the anterior-posterior motion of the tibial centers of contact.
