摘要

Robot-based flexible assembly work cells generally consist of several manufacturing devices which have to co-operate on the assemblage of different products. In this paper first a typical assembly work cell consisting of industrial robot an a conveyor system is introduced. Basing on a concept for dissection of manufacturing systems into a structure of autonomous and decoupled work cells the requirements on a work cell controller are described. A work cell control system is presented which can be adapted to different applications universally.
