LOCAL ELECTRONIC PROPERTIES OP THE BURKOV MODEL

We study one of the models for decagonal AlCuCo proposed by S. E. Burkov (1993) and demonstrate how to analyse it for local atomic clusters that might contribute to the MSfibauer effect. We also present results from ab initio calculations concerning the electronic properties of these clusters. Finally we demonstrate our methods for the calculation of a first theoretical MoBbauer absorption spectrum for the Burkov model.
