The Horizontal-Branch Morphology

We examine the horizontal-branch (HB) morphology presented by galactic globular clusters, making extensive use of the parameter B2-R/B+V+R introduced by Buonanno (1993) to describe the colour distribution of the stars along the HB. It is found that both the age and the central density of the clusters have an important influence on the HB morphology.
