Kinematics and Metallicity of the Galactic Globular Cluster System

摘要

An analysis of the spatial, kinematical and chemical structure of galactic globular clusters (GGCs) is presented, following the methodology proposed by Morrison et al. (1990). The results of this analysis lead us to suggest that GGCs lend themselves to being represented as two populations, whose main differences are their rotation speeds and concentration towards the galactic plane, whilst their chemical abundances and ages overlap.
