GPS:ACCURATE AND ACTIVE LOCATION REGISTRATION

摘要

This paper proposes that GPS(global position system)is applied in the location registration of the MS(mobile station)in a mobile communication network.Based on the excellent performance of GPS,one can come to the conclusion that it is an optimum choice of intelligent network management technologies for implementing the entire functions,including Handoff,Registration,Roaming,Control/Charge and so on.Using GPS for Location Registration is of great importance for efficently using channel frequencies.Thus,it can be foreseen that GPS has a well applyed prospect in various mobile communication network.
