TRAINING BROADCAST TRAINERS FOR THE TWENTY FIRST CENTURY: AN ASIA-PACIFIC PERSPECTIVE

摘要

The first part of this paper reviews a recent and innovative programme in the. preparation of Asian Pacific broadcast trainers (the Certificate in Broadcast Training offered jointly by the Asia-Pacific Institute for Broadcasting Development and the Northern Territory University). The sort of training that will best serve professional trainers of broadcasters in the region is stressed. In the second half of the paper some of the strategies and skills and attributes that a broadcast trainer will need going into the twenty first century are outlined.
