摘要

We describe different atomic and molecular spectroscopy experiments we performed by means of semiconductor diode lasers. In particular, we discuss the questions of high spectral resolution, for accurate measurements of fine spectral structures, and high sensitivity, which is important for low absorptions detection. The results we obtained demonstrate that the specific characteristics of these laser sources make them ideal tools for spectroscopy.
