Surface-Trace Feasibility for IR-Based Position-Sensing Devices

摘要

Feasibility of using IR-based position-sensing devices to trace the surfaces of objects encountered by robots, wheelchairs, and other vehicles is examined. Experiments demonstrate the successful capture of the outline of several objects.
