In this paper we report the simulation of an achromatised LiNbO_3 phase modulator with a range of 300nm centered around 670nm by using a two stage cascaded Mach-Zehnder controlled by independent electric field on each stage to overcome the chromatic dispersion brought by the Pockels effect. Development of a two stages electro-optic phase modulator test setup and first proofs of phase compensation between the stages will be presented.
