A sheet-like lithium niobate titanate (Li-Nb-Ti-O) template grain and preparation method thereof. The sheet-like Li-Nb-Ti-O template grain has the chemical formula of LiNb0.6Ti0.5O3. The grain is of sheet-like morphology and has a composition of M-phase Li-Nb-Ti-O powder. Also provided are a textured lithium niobate titanate (Li-Nb-Ti-O) microwave medium ceramic comprising the grain and preparation method thereof.
