Stabilized OEM diode-laser system for metrology applications

摘要

This work reports on a compact and robust single-frequency laser emitting at 633 nm, for industrial metrologyapplications. The system integrates a miniaturized optical isolator, a single-mode fiber coupling and a vapor cellas frequency reference. The achieved absolute frequency stability is 10~(-8), while the output power from the fiberis >1 mW. The system shows stable operation over an ambient temperature range between 0 and 70°C, with anelectrical power consumption of <3 W. This compact laser system can replace gas lasers in industrial metrologyapplications, and can serve as key component in future quantum-technology devices.
