The Influencing Factors of Drug Addiction Based on Principal Component Analysis Model

Nowadays,the United States is experiencing a global crisis about opioids.In order to solve this problem,based on the data of Ohio,Kentucky,Pennsylvania,Virginia and West Virginia,we used principal component analysis model and ARCMAP software to analyze the relationship between drug addiction and socio-economic factors.Taking the data of 2016 as an example,we use the principal component model to calculate the total score of each county on each index,and use ARCMAP software to draw the distribution map according to the color depth to reflect the score.By comparing the distribution map with the distribution map of opioid events in 2016,the relationship between drug addiction and socioeconomic is analyzed.It is concluded that drug addiction is related to education,the number of veterans and the number of disabled persons,but not to other indicators.
