Natural geopolymers like fulvic acids (FAs) take an active part in complex formation processes proceeding in natural waters. In spite of researches, experimental data on average stability constants of complex compounds of FA with heavy metals (among them zinc) are heterogeneous, and they differ in several lines from each other. FA was isolated from Faravani Lake by the adsorption-chromatographic method. Charcoal was used as a sorbent. The complex formation process of fulvate complexes of zinc was studied by using Sephadex G-25 at pH 8. Average value of the stability constant of zinc fulvate complexes was calculated.
