This paper focuses on flood-resistant performance of soaked masonrystructure and aims to analyze the mechanism of evolution of it. 28 groupsof compression tests of soaked composite mortar and 14 groups of sheartests of soaked masonry were carried out. Four semi-empirical formulasof compressive strength of soaked composite mortar are put forward. Theresults of shear strength are compared with the fitting-code value and thecode value. Based on the above results, the mechanism of evolution offlood-resistant performance is discussed. It finds moisture content has asignificant influence on flood-resistant performance of soaked masonrystructure.
