Development of made-to-order burners for industrial use

In the Japanese industrial market, energy-saving industrial heating systems are required in the terms of high energy price and green environment. We, Osaka gas, have developed various gas burners for industrial use in wide range from low-temperature such as food process to high-temperature such as metal heat treatment furnaces. In particular, we have developed high efficiency gas combustors, such as heat exchangers, recuperative burners and regenerative burners for high-temperature utilization. These burners have been introduced by many customers for the high energy-saving performance. Now, most industrial customers in Osaka Gas supply areas use natural gas. Customers who use other fuel have facilities, specific such as glass melting furnaces, rotary kilns and so on. These customers have different facilities for products in each. Therefore it is necessary to develop burners depending on customer needs by made-to-order method. In this report, we introduce development contents including concrete examples.
