摘要

An adjustable constant force mechanism is introduced. The profile is generated based on energy equations to obtain a parabolic profile and utilize lever arms to allow constant force adjustment. The reaction force error due to friction and dimension error is analysed to identify the output force error of the mechanism. A proof of concept prototype is built and a loading experiment is conducted to validate the mechanism synthesis and analysis.
