The Metal Forming Research Centre is a distinct research unit within "Lucian Blaga" University ofSibiu. This is one of the first centres of this kind within the Romanian higher education system and itwas founded under the framework or the TEMPUS interuniversity programme. The Metal FormingResearch Centre has assumed both the role of industrial research unit and technology transfer pole,acting as a reliable partner for the industrial companies around Sibiu.
