The paper presents the six years' of authors' experience in teaching as a team of an “E-Learning Assessment Methods” course to students from the Master of Science Programme (MSc.P.) “E-Learning”, taught at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics (FMI) of Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” (SU), Sofia, Bulgaria. The main purpose of the paper is to acquaint the interested audience with the standpoints and accumulated practical experience of the authors in the design, development and delivery of the course, and its integration in the whole strategy and system of courses of the MSc. P. “E-Learning” so as to bring about a successful preparation of future e-learning specialists. The paper is organised as follows. First, an introduction is presented, which gives the background of the MSc. P. “E-Learning”, outlining its main characteristics, structure, and curriculum. As a second section, a short overview of related work with similar e-assessment courses is presented. The third section presents the integrated assignments strategy for key courses in the MSc. Programme. The fourth section presents the course methodology, and the fifth section presents the major practical results of the course implementation. Finally, the last section presents considerations for further amendment of the “E-Learning Assessment Methods” course quality on the base of the obtained results throughout the already six years of course's implementation and continuous improvement, and having in mind the developments and future trends in the (e-)learning domain.
