摘要

The rapid evolution of technology has created a unique set of challenges for both educationalinstitutions and the industries that rely on these institutions to produce a worker with the skills theindustries need. Traditional educational institutions have not been able to keep their curriculums up todate with current technologies. This has prevented them from producing graduates with the skills thatindustries require to operate and grow their businesses. This phenomenon has created a substantiveskill gap that has severely hampered organizations from finding the skilled workers they need, eventhough unemployment rates are still modestly high. This paper examines how industry and technicalcolleges can cooperate in new ways and leverage Big Data to implement real-time governancemodels for all aspects of their collective ecosystems.
