(1154.pdf) NETNOGRAPHY IN THE UNIVERSIDADE ABERTA DO BRASIL SYSTEM: RESEARCH WITH COORDINATORS FROM SOUTH, NORTH AND NORTHEAST CENTERS

Since June 2011 a research has been carried out concerning the supporting centers of UniversidadeAberta do Brasil (Open University of Brazil) under the leadership of the researching group “Forma??ode professores e novas tecnologias de informa??o e comunica??o” (Teacher training and newtechnologies of information and communication), linked to Universidade Federal Fluminense and toUniversidade Estadual de Londrina. In this study, about 70 coordinators of the North, Northeast andSouth regional centers, which strove to define their career, analyzing the official systems of evaluationand indicating procedures to optimize these evaluative processes. First, from interviews, where thecareer and profile of center management had been highlighted. Then, by means of crossed visits,wherein regional pairs have been established and a simulation of mutual evaluation was performed.Still, counting with the participation of two representatives from each region, systematizing andconsolidating data received for this search. The whole process was incremented via Moodle.Describing this collaborative effort, producing a knowledge of the Universidade Aberta do Brasilsystem, but especially exploring new research methodologies, such as netnography is our intention inthis presentation. Thus, it is necessary to emphasize that the research was extended by virtualenvironment specially developed.
