Within the framework of my researches, I had made east of my country, more exactly to Goma, the capital of the province of Nord-Kivu.The rape is the fact of forcing a person to sexual intercourse, while the latter is not willing. It is thus the fact to force a person to have sexual intercourse.In Democratic Republic of the Congo, it is used by the servicemen of gangs armed, rebels as regular, as weapon of war.Many women and girls victims of repetitive rapes live in this part of the country, of time without lesser psychological follow-up.At the East of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, when a girl is raped by armed people, she is not any more the same. At first, the way it is perceived by its circle of acquaintances changes completely. Towards the men who surround her, she is not any more a child, about is her age. And thus, will conclude certain men, she becomes capable of living a committed sexual life and to conceive. It is the reason which makes that more than 90 % of the girls raped in all the part is from this country, abandon downright the studies.On these 90 %, near half still undergo the other sexual abuses and the rapes the authors of which are others than those who surround them. There is thus a very strange thing to be understood in the real motives which push people of this part of the country to be engaged to surrender in this horrible practice.The question concerning us is to know why the girls and raped children do not any more manage to resume the way of the school.In it, there are several valid answers.The first one is the effect of the shame. When a girl is raped, all the village knows, because these armed people commit these abuses in front of everybody, using it as arms with war.The second is the abandonment. Unless having nerves of steel, when a girl is raped, she often loses the taste of the life. Her life loses its sense and she is confused. It is due to the fact that some of them, are still teenagers and have another no sexual experience.The third reason is doubtless the rejection of the family and her close relations. Certain families do not support that their daughter is dishonored.She does not care to bring her the assistant which it is necessary. And the girl, being still a child, is delivered to hersel, and thus open to all the negative influences.The fourth and last reason is doubtless the gravest: they are enlisted in armed gangs. Having made the expenses of armed people, most of the girls also become children soldiers, power take-offs by their rapists. It is very grave, especially since they undergo at this moment, a certain deviation of the personality. They are not any more only children, but nor either very human and develop a certain hatred against the men and the human beings generally.
