MIAME-Compliant Microarray Data Integrated System

摘要

A MIAME-compliant Microarray data integrated system with associated Java Application and data processing pipelines has been integrated into the MAGIC gene discovery software package. The latter was initially designed to support high-throughput DNA sequencing, especially of expressed sequence tags, and related activities. The result is a comprehensive computer software system for gene discovery and expression, providing near real-time annotation of microarray experiments. It is equally suitable for use with non-model organisms and/or with custom, user-defined arrays, and it supports collaborative projects in which wet-lab activities are dispersed while bioinformatics support is at a central location.
