摘要

In this research, a non-Newtonian model for blood flow within a stenosed artery is investigated numerically. Finite Element Method of Galerkin's weighted residual scheme is used to solve the transport equations with appropriate boundary conditions. The main objective of this study is to explore the influence of magnetic field on the blood flow. The numerical results are presented in terms of the velocity, pressure distribution and shear rate of the stenosed artery.
