Study on mathematical model of effect of water transfer project on regulating reservoir water temperature

摘要

The water diversion project between the reservoirs through the river will affect the reservoir water temperature. The impact of Jilin Province Water Diversion Project for regulating reservoir is simulated by a 2D mathematical model. The results illustrate that the influence of water diversion project on water temperature distribution of regulating reservoir is limited, because the adjustable water volume is less than that of the regulating reservoir. The affected area is limited to the local area of the reservoir tail and the water temperature is balanced within 1 months. The research results can provide technical support for the implementation of the water diversion project.
