Dear delegate,Welcome to The Motorship’s Propulsion & Future Fuels Conference. For our fortieth anniversarywe have renamed this year’s event in honour of our very first conference, in 1979. Back then, thephrase ‘future fuels’ meant something very different, as shipping ironed out the qualitychallenges around heavy fuel oil, which would eventually be standardised and come todominate the market.
