Bio-industries and regional suppliers in growing countries are looking for a better valorization of date palm fruit (Phoenix Dactylifera. L), especially in terms of its waste management in a more efficient and sustainable way. Anaerobic digestion (AD), as a promising solution to both energy generation and resources recovery from solid wastes, has gained increasing attention in fruit production industries [1]. In this context, the present study presents the preliminary results of the methane potential test of six varieties of date pulp waste.
