Absence of Voltage Testers: A guide to listing requirements

This paper provides a description of Absence of Voltage Testers (AVTs), their use, listing requirements (as defined in UL 1436), and application considerations. A discussion of how AVTs can be used to support NPFA 70E work practices, as well as advantages and limitations are also addressed.
