Casale’s long experience and know how in plant revamping is now available for nitric acid plants.This innovative scheme ensures a substantial capacity increase of dual pressure nitric acid plants.The challenging objective is achieved without impacting the major key equipment: the turbo compressor set.Benefits of this solution is a low CAPEX investment with limited revamping schedule and short plant downtime.This paper highlights the major features of this revamping approach.
