Endurance Wave Analysis (EWA) is a new dynamic push-over approach in which an offshore structure is examined against some gradually intensifying sea states. The approach was already used for the dynamic nonlinear deterministic analysis of offshore structures. In this paper, a direct probabilistic framework for generating fragility curves of offshore fixed platforms under extreme sea wave loading is addressed. To this end, EWA approach and Multiple Stripe Analyses (MSA) were incorporated and the platform hazard functions for a desired demand parameter such as base shear, Reserve Strength Ratio (RSR) and deck horizontal displacement were specified. The current study showed that the EWA can provide a sound and suitable framework for the probabilistic assessment and direct estimation of the hazard and fragility curves of fixed offshore platforms.
