Discussion on the factors affecting performance of the high frequency

The application of RF coaxial cable in the field of communication to high frequency is becoming more and more obvious. The performance of high frequency coaxial cable is the key to capture the market. The key performance of RF coaxial cable includes voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), attenuation, phase consistency, velocity, Third-order Intercept Point (IP3) and so on. In this paper, the Influential factors to the main performance of the cable are discussed and analyzed in the aspect of RF coaxial cable design, production, processing, testing, using and so on.
