A Double-core Invisible Optical Cable for FTTH

With the development of the optical communication technique, the demand for optical fibers cables are increasing rapidly in recent years. Different kinds of optical cable are used in different place and application scenarios. For example, the transmission system of China Broadcast Television Network is different from other telecom operators, because they need to introduce two optical fibers into the home. One for database network, the other for TV network. In this application scenarios, we designed a double-core invisible micro optical cable to solve these problems, and a new bow-type cable were also designed which derive from double-core invisible micro optical cable. The structure of the double-core invisible micro optical cable and a new bow-type drop cable were shown in the paper, and mechanical properties meet customer's needs. At the same time, tools and accessories were designed for double-core invisible micro optical fiber. In the end, we talk about how to apply and install the optical cable. The cable can be installed and maintained easily for the workers. Their feedback is satisfying and effective after using.
