摘要

The ship-generated waves have potentially damaging effects on navigable canal’s boundary. The observed data of fixed sections can be used to research hydraulic geometry between section morphology factors and ship hydrodynamic factors. Twenty sections’ data and vessel traffics’ data from 2009 to 2014 in Changzhou segment of the Grand Canal were collected. The relationship between ship hydrodynamic factors and river regime coefficients of section is established. The results show a high positive correlation between ship hydrodynamic factors and river regime coefficients of section. The exponent in hydraulic geometry relation decreases as the comprehensive ship traffic intensity increases.
