ADVANCES FOR AN ADVANCED PUBLIC TRANSPORT SYSTEM 'APTS' AT WEST CENTRAL METROPOLITAN AREA COLOMBIA

摘要

This paper aims to present the advances that have been consolidating around the Intelligent Transport Systems "ITS" at the West Central Metropolitan Area, among these advances the development of specialized software for Transport, which supports the management of human talent, the maintenance and operation of the transport fleet, enabling the traceability of information between these processes, in addition to a module for monitoring and control of transport fleet that allows for real-time information for managing it. Another advance is the implementation of an Advanced Traveler Information System "ATIS", which allows to plan the trip in the different transport's modes, showing the user real-time information from the vehicle to the desired path.
