Terahertz inspection of static loaded composite materials

摘要

The aim of this study was to investigate the possibility of using terahertz method for testing of glass fiber reinforced polymer composites subjected to static load. Detection abilities of inhomogeneities occurred during static bending process were examined and algorithm for automated detection of defects was developed. Application of proposed algorithm enables accurate evaluation of composite structures condition.
