The new military needs of multi-aircraft joint operations make the support mode be multi-aircraft joint support. In order to achieve the goals of precision support under the new support mode, the configuration and optimization methods for spare parts and support equipment are studied. On the basis of multi-aircraft joint operational mission modeling for two typical modes of fixed mission and regeneration mission, spare parts demand functions are built considering dynamic mission. And spare parts support process is analyzed. Furthermore, mission availability model is established. In the model, multi-aircraft joint operational mission and the complex affects of spare parts and support equipment configuration are considered. Then, considering availability and cost of multi-aircraft joint operations, an integrated optimization model of spare parts and support equipment is established. The solving algorithm of the optimization model is given using marginal analysis method considering importance level. The effectiveness of the model and methods is verified by a regional air defense mission case. The study can provide methods and technical means for the precise configuration of spare parts and support equipment under the condition of multi-aircraft joint support. And it can provide theoretical support for improving the multi-aircraft joint support effectiveness.
