Among potentially fatal adverse drug events (ADEs), 6%-10% are due to allergies. Thus information of such events is critical. 1. Method: A Japan nationwide survey with a 43-item questionnaire about allergy was conducted in 213 hospitals with 600+ beds between Oct. 2012 and March 2013, including 50 public university, 40 private university, 59 public and 64 private hospitals.
