DOUBLE BUFFERS SYSTEM FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF RAILWAY VEHICLES BEHAVIOUR IN CURVES

摘要

We present a system consisting of two linked buffers at one end of a railway vehicle. The system developed allows for the improvement of the behavior of the wagons at curves. It is based upon the original solution of buffer previously developed and presented. In the present paper, a comparison of these newly proposed buffers with the now existing ones is also provided and the comparison demonstrates the superiority of our solution.
