ERGONOMICAL STUDY REGARDING WORKING IN STANDING AND SEATING POSTURES

摘要

The purpose of this paper is to provide a model of the human body for the observation of the advantages of the seated position over the standing position. The study was conducted using experimental data taken from dental physicians working in both positions. The model proved to be viable and offered a validation of the previous experimental conclusions. Generally speaking, any kind of human action can be optimized in this manner, offering vital data about the muscle activity.
