摘要

The laser beam polishing is an innovative manufacturing method, which allows creating high-grade surfaces on quartz glass components in the shortest possible time. The method is influenced by a great deal of various parameters. To ensure the entire manufacturing process and the results, the development of a process chain is required. This chain should include the pre-machining, like grinding for example, as well as the polishing process itself plus the subsequent quality check.
