摘要

The paper focuses on the influence of the post-curing thermal cycles on the mechanical performance of polymeric/glass fibre composites. The values are compared with those retrieved in case of the composite structures tested at room temperature in order to size the mechanical properties variation. The results indicate that if the composite structures are aimed to be used in low-cost engineering applications a single thermal cycle is enough to improve their mechanical properties. Results also indicate that the amount of fillers embedded into the structure has its influence on the mechanical characteristics of the polymeric composites.
