KAPLAN TURBINE BLADE DESIGN WITH OCTAVIAN POPA METHOD

摘要

This paper presents the design of axial turbine runners based on the method of Professor Octavian Popa The method permits to obtain the aerodynamic characteristics of the airfoils obtained trough arbitrary parameters which enter in the conformal mapping chosen function. Through the modification of the parameters we obtain different airfoils which appertain to the same family.
