The paper presents the machining process with advanced NC programs (SURFCAM 2005) of a bracket for a cargo air-craft door, made of aluminium alloy (zycral). The part has thin walls and it is subjected to thermal and static transitorial loads and strong vibrations. As a result of a heat transfer, static and dynamic analyses, there were determined the critical sections that had to be taken into account by the manufacturing process.
