THE NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF GLOBALISATION ON LOCAL MANUFACTURING

Multinational manufacturers are known as those companies which break the national boundaries and tend to grow globally by investing in other markets directly and/or indirectly. There are a considerable number of papers published in the literature on the reasons why companies choose to go multinational; but no significant research have been conducted on the negative aspects of the multinational manufacturing. This paper presents and analyses four of the major negative aspects of the globalisation on manufacturing.
