Cutting Parameters Optimization for Difficult Excavating Conditions with Bucket Wheel Excavators on Gracanica Opencast Mine in Gacko

This paper presents the analysis of boom dynamic behaviour for the bucket wheel excavator ER 1250, before and after revitalization and with motor power increasing from 315 kW to 400 kW, during mining of hard soil in relation to various cutting parameters. Definition of parameters is determined based on testing on field.
