Quality Control Charts Using Different Ranked Set Sampling Schemes

In this article, we obtain different quality control charts for the sample mean based on variant modifications of ranked set sampling (RSS) including folded ranked set sampling (FRSS) and median ranked set sampling (MRSS) methods and compare with the classical control charts using simple random sampling (SRS) and ranked set sampling (RSS). A simulation study shows that the FRSS control charts have smaller average run length (ARL) compared with their counterpart charts using SRS and RSS.
