摘要

The dieless roll forming is a special technology for the manufacture of discal parts. This paper will describe metallurgical evaluations of the rolling thermal deformation. The deformation behavior and microstructure of 6061 aluminum alloy was reseached by the numerical simulation and the EBSD (electron-backscattered diffraction). The results show that the grain sizes increase with the distance increase from surface, and the surface of discal part shows the small grain. The number of small grain decreases with the increased distance from surface, and the discal part surface has large number of deform grains. The metal flow and effective strain during forming were also studied by numerical simulation.
